Instructors
Maria
Maria has been part of the MYGYM team for the past two years. She is known for her killer leg workouts and ability to keep talking while she works out (unlike Mac who you can usually distract by starting him on a story if you need a bit of a break). Maria is our resident runner - which is good because running is not really Mac and Lynsey's forte - and has added a couple of half marathons to her belt in the last few years. She also works at Hiscoes as a customer care manager and is our fitness industry all-star.
Kai
Kai looks friendly enough but don't be fooled he will still make you work hard - he'll just do it with a smile. His experience as a professional paintballer makes him a bit of a drill sergeant but we know that's just what you need some times. Kai is the king of sweaty workouts so if you like a good all-over routine his sessions are the one to go for.
Michaela
Michaela has also been on board with us for a couple of years now. Lynsey and Michaela go way back as boxing sparring and wrestling partners (and no, not the kind of wrestling you are thinking of!) Michaela is a psychologist and boxing coach and has been involved in personal training, boxing and weight training for many years. Working out of Boxingworks as well as MYGYM and with private clients she is our favourite boxing coach.
Hannah
Hannah is our newest addition and is working out of our new studio at Hiscoes in Surry Hills. The spin queen Hannah loves to cycle and can be seen on the streets of Sydney as well as in the cycle studio. Hannah, a recent university graduate brings a fresh face and a fresh training approach to the MYGYM team.
All MYGYM trainers have a minimum of Certificate IV in Personal Training, are registered with Fitness Australia and hold current first aid certificates. Other minimum requirements are - interests in things other than fitness, brains and personality!
